CFLS First Lesson of the New Semester - Senior Three

　　On August 31, 2022, at the beginning of the new semester, the leaders, teachers, and students of senior three gathered in the multi-functional lecture hall, and started the first lesson of the new semester with the theme of "the moment closest to the dream". Principal Wang Hao, Party Secretary Zhao Qingwen, Vice Principal Yang Zhongshan, Vice Principal Zhang Lianfeng, Vice Principal Lou Shuang, directors, teachers, and students participated in this activity.

　　The first lesson of the school started with students' reading sharing and current affairs comments. The students summarized their learning gains during the vacation and made plans for the new semester.

　　A special part of the first lesson of this semester is that we invited Lei Yuetong, an outstanding graduate of Changchun Foreign Language School in 2022, who has been admitted to Tongji University. She told the teachers and classmates about her high school experience in the form of a video, especially how she regrouped and prepared herself after failing to obtain the recommendation qualification. In the end, she was ranked 277th in the province. Looking forward to the 2023 CFLS students inheriting excellence and creating greater glories in the college entrance examination.

　　Students entering Senior Three will have confused and complicated thoughts about their future choices. We invited our teacher Liu Baoxiang to give a speech on career planning. Ms. Liu is a senior teacher, a national career planner, the inventor of the patent "Multi-dimensional Learning Ability Improvement System and Method", an advanced individual in family education in Jilin Province, and an advanced individual in moral education in Changchun City. In this speech, Ms. Liu used three stories, "the distress of a graduate from a top university", "the strike back of an art student" and "the report of the learning ability test of a scholar", which made the students re-understand their learning potential, learning effectiveness and motivation, At the same time, she encouraged the students to recognize "people who are better than me, learn from him!" "people who make me better, ask him for help!" "people who are as good as me, walk with him". In the end, Ms. Liu used the words "no guilt, no regrets" to inspire all senior three students to work hard and draw a new blueprint.

　　At the end of the activity, Principal Wang Hao made an important speech for us. The principal said that the third-year students came to the sprint node. The key to a person's great achievements lies in three types of Factors: a way of thinking, enthusiasm, and ability. After that, Principal Wang made a specific explanation on four levels: "Take responsibility first, be a responsible person!" "Be proud of the progress, and be a person with pursuit!" "Take virtue as the First, be a person of integrity!" "Take faith as the main thing, be a resilient person", to encourage students to develop the study habit of "living up to the present".
