On January 31, the Russian International Literature Competition of "Polar Star-Polar Bear" was successfully held in Krasnoyarsk, Russia, the international sister city of our city. The purpose of the activity is to carry out literary creation with the theme of polar bear, an endangered animal in the Arctic, to show young people's views on nature and cultural values, and to arouse the international community's attention and protection of endangered species in the Arctic. The competition requires literary works to be written in the original Russian, and the contestants must be no more than 18 years old.
Our school received an invitation from the Municipal Foreign Affairs Office to participate in the competition and actively organized students from all sections of primary school, junior high school and senior high school to participate in the competition. Students overcame the difficulties of heavy homework tasks and short creative time under the careful guidance of the Russian teachers in our school. They completed 28 original Russian literary works in their spare time. After a fierce competition, 28 students from the primary school department of our school all won the prize of excellence in the competition.
