Representatives of RenMin University visit CFLS

　　On the morning of June 16, four people, including Dean Chen Fang from the School of Foreign Languages of Renmin University of China, visited our school to exchange views on cooperation matters such as the signing of the "Employment Practice Base for Students of the School of Foreign Languages of Renmin University of China".

　　The leaders first visited the teaching building, the gymnasium, the reading park, and the high school cultural corridor. The leaders affirmed the elegant and warm classrooms, the clean and atmospheric playground, and the campus environment showing the details of education everywhere.

　　Principal Wang Hao warmly welcomed the delegation of Chen Fang from the Renmin University of China and introduced the basic situation of our school. He emphasized the need to strive to build an education system that comprehensively educates people in terms of morality, intelligence, physical fitness, and aesthetics and to form a higher level of talent cultivation mechanism. He emphasized that building moral character is the fundamental task of education, and building moral character means putting great effort into strengthening the ideal and beliefs of youth, shaping the moral quality of youth, and nurturing the rule of law of youth. He also pointed out that cultural self-confidence is broader and deeper self-confidence. The school strengthens teachers' theoretical study, practical training, humanistic care, guiding teachers to practice the mission of nurturing people, integrating the concept of strict love, and benefiting others in all areas of education and the whole process, and being "teachers" who are proficient in "preaching, teaching and solving problems". 

　　Chen Fang said in the conversation that the Renmin University of China has always adhered to the leadership of the Party, inherited the red gene, and is rooted in the Chinese land, forming three major characteristics of running a university: the cradle of the "builders of the People's Republic", the center of higher education in humanities and social sciences, and the highland of Marxism teaching and research. It has become a model and epitome of the Communist Party of China in exploring the establishment of a new type of higher education and running a university rooted in Chinese soil and is regarded as a banner in the field of higher education in humanities and social sciences in China. She mentioned the construction of the integration of university, pointing out that the content of the course thinking and politics should be enriched, forming the characteristics of the construction of the course thinking and politics with organic integration inside and outside the classroom, telling the "Chinese story", reflecting and showing the "Chinese style". Chen also said that the Renmin University of China is a top-ranking university in China, with a large number of talents and famous scholars, which has made important contributions to the development and prosperity of China's philosophy and social sciences and the cause of modernization of socialism with Chinese characteristics.

　　Afterward, the two universities signed the Agreement on the Employment and Practice Base for Students of the School of Foreign Languages of the Renmin University of China, and the two sides had in-depth exchanges on specific issues such as students coming to CFLS for an internship, recognition of research projects, and training of compound talents.

　　Finally, Dean Chen Fang of the School of Foreign Languages of the Renmin University of China thanked our school again for the warm and sincere reception and said that CFLS has developed rapidly in non-common languages in recent years, and hoped that the two schools would further strengthen communication and promote all-round cooperation.
