　　This year is the Year of Sports Exchange between Russia and China, which was jointly launched by President Xi Jinping and President Putin during the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. To enhance cooperation between the sports communities of the two countries and to promote friendly exchanges between Russian and Chinese youths, Changchun Foreign Language School and Changchun Jingyue Foreign Language Experimental School held a "Sports for Youth" event with their Russian sister school 1517 High School. The event aimed to further enhance the physical exercise of students from both schools, enrich their after-school life, cultivate team spirit among students, stimulate their enthusiasm for learning, ensure the healthy physical and mental development of students from both schools and show the spirit of young people from both countries.

　　With the continuous development of Sino-Russian relations, the friendly exchanges between the youth are becoming more diversified. More and more children in Russia are actively learning Chinese and understanding Chinese culture. We hope all these children will become little messengers spreading the friendship between Russia and China and contributing to the Sino-Russian exchange. The event began with the loud and clear singing and sweet smiles of the children from Changchun Jingyue Foreign Language Experimental School.

　　Each athlete was energetic and enthusiastic, promoting the spirit of higher, faster, and stronger unity. Changchun Foreign Language School organized four fun sports: team dressing, blindfolded drumming, inflatable caterpillar, and tug of war. Face-to-face, hand-in-hand, T-shirt passing was a competition of speed and wisdom and a test of teamwork. The two schools competed on the sports field to show their vitality of youth burst out in every corner of the field.

　　Many of the children were still impressed at the end of the event. A hug and a goodbye carried a lot of friendship. The fun games fully demonstrated the spirit of struggle and unity of Russian and Chinese students, and meanwhile relieved the pressure of school work, enhanced mutual understanding between Russian and Chinese youths, built a bridge of friendship, and allowed the Russian and Chinese people to create a better future together. Through this event, the seeds of friendship were sown, the fruits of friendship between Chinese and Russian youths for generations were harvested, and a solid foundation was laid for future exchanges.
