Every year, thousands of students challenge themselves in various academic competitions in science, technology, engineering and more. Our school has achieved excellent results in the British Physics Olympiad (BPhO).
- Grasp the direction in the headwind, be a petrel in a storm, and be a lone star that does not change its color.
The British Physics Olympiad is hosted by the University of Oxford and the British Physical Society, and the office is located in the Department of Physics, University of Oxford. Sponsors and academic support units include the University of Cambridge, National Physical Laboratory, Rolls-Royce, Royal Astronomical Society, Ogden Trust and so on.

Thanks to the instructor Jing Ran and Liu Zaiying for their teaching and dedication!
Instructor Award Certificate

The instructor used the spare time of vacation to provide free training for the students participating in the competition, and accumulated rich experience and knowledge for the students, so that the students gained a lot in the process of preparing for the competition, and also cultivated the students to be enterprising and brave to learn!

The British Physics Olympiad began in 1979, and in 1983, it officially selected the national team for the United Kingdom to participate in the International Physics Olympiad. The Organizing Committee of the British Physics Olympiad is mainly composed of Oxford University, the British Physical Society and the Odgen Foundation. The office is located in the Department of Physics, Oxford University. Students need to use their physics knowledge to complete the challenge, which involves a wide range of knowledge points. The challenge does not require students to complete all the test questions, but encourages students to choose and complete the parts they are good at according to their interests and scope of study.
The British Physics Olympiad (BPhO) aims to test comprehension and problem-solving skills. On the BPhO official website, it is also directly stated that participating in this competition can provide students with the following advantages:
