　　From May 25 to 26, 2019, a group of students and instructors gathered in the High School affiliated to Jilin University to witness an epic showdown. Powerful forces will convene and compete to see who will move on to the next round of a thrilling tournament. However, we are not talking about competitive sports – it’s the 19th Chinese Youth Robot Competition.

　　The robotics club of our school is composed of Han Shangyuan, Liu Xinyu, Qi Kachen, Liu Yichen, Tian Yuren, Liu Yuanxin and Cui Junhao from Grade Seven. In order not to delay the normal study task, the club insists on training during the lunch break at noon every day. A student says the robotics club offers friendship and a sense of belonging, meanwhile helps them think outside of the box. As the old saying says, “You win as a team and lose as a team.” Under the leadership of instructor Li Hongliang and captain Han Shangyuan, the club members accomplished each task excellently.

　　The theme of this year's competition is space travel. There are 24 participating teams in the junior high school group of the whole province. After a day of fierce competition, the students overcome all kinds of unexpected situations at the scene, and in the end, team A composed of Han Shangyuan, Liu Xinyu and Qi Kachen won the second place in the total score; team B composed of Liu Yichen, Tian Yuren, Liu Yuanxin and Cui Junhao won the third place in the total score. Both teams won the first prize!

　　The instructors said that he could not be more proud of students’ superb performance. These creative students might continue to be the next generation of scientists, engineers to explore the unknown world.
