Recently, CFLS and KOBE SHINWA WOMEN’S High School launched online exchange activities in our school’s Japanese culture classroom. Li Zhongqi, director of the school admissions office, and representatives of all Japanese students in Senior Two attended the activity. The activity was hosted by director Li Zhongqi, and Zhang Simiao from class 8 of Senior Two served as an interpreter.

During the event, Director Li Zhongqi first delivered an opening speech on behalf of Principal Wang Hao, expressing his expectations for friendly exchanges between the two schools, wishing the exchange activities between the two schools a complete success, and accompanied and guided the event throughout.

Before the exchange activities, our students made meticulous preparations under the guidance of Japanese Teacher Wang Wei. The activity was mainly based on students, and students from both sides actively participated, performed outstandingly, and had a lively atmosphere. After the students from the two schools introduced and got to know each other separately, the students of our school first introduced the city and the development of CFLS, and showed the Japanese students a full day of learning and life of our school’s students. During the free questioning time, the two sides had a unique cross-border conversation. The students of the two schools not only gained friendship, but the Japanese students also experienced a feast of Chinese culture, the breadth and depth of Chinese culture. At the same time, Chinese students also benefited a lot. Their language skills have been improved, they have become more mature and have a broader vision.

At the end of the event, the vice principal of KOBE SHINWA WOMEN’S Academy paid tribute to Principal Wang Hao, highly praised the Japanese level of our students, and expressed the expectation that the friendly and cooperative relationship between the two schools will continue to develop, and more exchanges and cooperation activities will be held in the future.
When bidding farewell, the students were full of gains and emotions. Their reluctant nostalgia witnessed the profound friendship between the two schools. “We are neighbors connected by love, separated merely by a strip of waters”. May the friendship between the two schools last forever.
