　　From November 19 to 21, 2021, the three-day high-level online conference of the 2021 World Youth Model United Nations Conference, co-sponsored by the China-Foreign Humanities Exchange Center of the Ministry of Education and Beijing Foreign Studies University and undertaken by the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press, came to a successful conclusion. More than 490 Chinese and foreign student representatives participated in the online high-level meeting. They participated in the discussion of heated issues in the international community as United Nations diplomats, expounding their views, conducting consultations and debates in accordance with the procedures of the United Nations.

　　A total of 7 students from CFLS passed the screening of the first round of national conferences and were eligible to participate in the national high-level conference. Among them, there were 5 students in junior high school and 2 students in high school. They are Jing Yijia Jiang Haonan, Wang Shuangao , Han Mingxuan, Tan Zixuan, Zhang Chuwei , Pu Yiwen. The seven representatives acted as diplomats of various countries, in accordance with the United Nations rules of procedure, conducted research, consultation, and debate around topics, and finally reached a resolution.

　　In this conference, the outstanding performance of our school delegation was highly appreciated and recognized by the presidium of the conference, and CFLS was specially awarded the title of "Best Team". Instructors Wang Li, Tian Jing and Qi Lina won the "Model United Nations Instructor Award" respectively. Among them, Jing Yijia and Wang Shuangao from the junior high school were awarded the "World Youth Leadership Nomination".

　　In short, through participating in this MUN conference, the students updated the concept of international collaboration, strengthened the understanding of national consciousness, and improved their Chinese and English expression and writing skills. It also lays the foundation for them to cultivate global competence in the future and become high-level international talents who can integrate Chinese and foreign countries and benefit the world. MUN people, MUN soul! The people of CFLS MUN will always be on the road, and we look forward to our next MUN meeting to achieve better results!
