From November 5 to November 10, 2021, the Jilin Province Youth Table Tennis Championships were held in Meihekou. After five days of intense competition, the players passed all the way, worked hard, and persevered. After many levels of selection, Wang Yi from the first grade of our school was finally qualified to enter the finals, and finally won the sixth place in the men's team and the 16th place in the singles competition.

Table tennis, as the national game of our country, is not only a sport, but also represents a kind of sportsmanship. Ping-pong skills are boundless. In the process of learning, not only do you need to practice more, but also think more. It tests a person's flexibility and responsiveness, and at the same time requires a peaceful state of mind to calm down. Wang Yi has exercised his skills in each game and improved his overall quality.

From May 22 to 23, 2021, Wang Yi participated in the Changchun Table Tennis Championships. He won first place in elementary school boys' team and third place in singles. This competition not only tested the skill level of the players, but also promoted the exchange of students. Through this competition, the players broadened their horizons, increased their knowledge, and at the same time made them realize the gaps. The team leaders also learned from each other during the competition and developed together.

Wang Yi has been fond of playing table tennis since he was a child, and has always regarded Olympic champion Liu Guoliang as his idol. It is because of the motivation of his idols that Wang Yi insists on training table tennis for an hour and a half after school. Wang Yi is usually quiet, but he is particularly active when participating in class activities. At the Golden Autumn Sports Festival held by the school, Wang Yi actively participated in the 100-meter and 200-meter competitions, and other team competitions, doing his part for the class to get the third place in the team score. In addition to hard training, Wang Yi never forgets to study hard. He humbly seeks advice from teachers of various subjects, actively discusses problems with his classmates, and strives to improve his own quality. Wang Yi has an easygoing personality, unites with classmates, respects teachers, and is loved by teachers and classmates.

After bidding farewell to the arena, Wang Yi plunged into the intense study life again. His future, like everyone of us, is full of countless expectations. We believe that that sunny, healthy, positive, and uplifting little boy will use unremitting efforts to achieve himself. He will continue to start from CFLS, toward the goal, toward the champion in his life. Let us look forward to more wonderful moments of Wang Yi!
