The busy and fulfilling 2021 is about to pass, and the hopeful 2022 is in sight. At this special moment, on the afternoon of December 23, Senior Two English speech contest officially kicked off. Principal of CFLS Wang Hao, Vice Principal Yang Zhongshan, Director of Senior Two Zhang Yanling, and some teachers and students participated in the event. Specially invited foreign teachers Melanie, Serena, and Josiah serve as judges.
After various selection, a total of 20 speakers of Senior Two came to the fore and entered the finals. The final was divided into two sessions, a speech on the topic and an impromptu Q&A. In the end, the judges selected 10 second prizes, 8 first prizes, and 2 special awards.

The competition can be described as a gathering of talents. The contestants all showed their excellent and fluent oral expression, which won unanimous praise from teachers and students. The competition was unprecedentedly fierce. From learning methods to personal perceptions, from modern technology to international perspectives, the speakers confidently expressed and brought wonderful performances one after another. The students fully reflected the cultural literacy and foresight of Senior Two students.

Faced with on-site questions from foreign teachers, the speakers talked freely, without stage fright, and answered each question brilliantly with their rich knowledge accumulation, and there was constant laughter off the court.
I believe that through this competition, every player and audience will benefit a lot from various performance methods, a wide range of open topics, and the exchange of ideas in the competition. This will help students make greater progress in the subsequent English learning.

The dubbing competition is also brilliant. The dubbing of each class is unique and creative. Their dynamic, quirky, and elegant performances are impressive.

The students interpret their feelings about the movie with their voices. Their voices may be sad, happy, croaky, or loud, unleashing the potential and passion, expressing their infinite expectation.

The students cooperated tacitly with accurate and clear oral English. They express their emotions in full and in place, and they vividly connect the characters with the plot. They also have an appropriate grasp of the emotions of the characters, comparable to the original soundtrack of the film.

Here is the stage of sound, where there is the burst of emotion, the journey through history, the dialogue is classic, full of empathy, sympathy, and true feelings. Time flies when you are having fun. Although this year's speech and dubbing come to an end, the progress and gains in it have left a pleasant echo in the hearts of every student. I hope that the students will take this opportunity to continue the excitement and go to the world with the demeanor of CFLSer.
