On the afternoon of September 3, 2021, Li Jingwei, the legal representative of the China Business Department of Yamanashi Gakuin University(YGU), Japan, and three people went to Changchun Foreign Languages School(CFLS) to discuss cooperation on International exchange. Principal Wang Hao of CFLS, Director Shao Yang of the school office, Director Li Zhongqi of the Admissions Office, Director Wang Zhongshan of the International Department, and Director Wang Ying of the Japanese Language Teaching and Research Office attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Principal Wang Hao, on behalf of the teachers and students of the school, extended a warm welcome to the delegation of Yamanashi Gakuin University in Japan. Principal Wang emphasized that CFLS is the leading unit of basic education and teaching of Japanese subjects, and it has an important influence nationwide with well-equipped teachers. Over the years, we have cultivated a large number of outstanding Japanese talents for the country. Ambassador Cheng Yonghua, Ambassador Han Zhiqiang, and Minister Counselor Hu Zhiping are all outstanding graduates of our school. In the new era of talent training, the school will continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Yamanashi Gakuin University to create more opportunities for the diversified development of students and help the school's high-quality development of basic education.
Yamanashi Gakuin University is a well-known comprehensive private university founded in 1946. Located at the foot of "Mount Fuji". The school has friendly cooperation and exchanges with Fudan University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Nankai University and many other universities and established a Confucius Institute in 2019. Li Jingwei said that Sino-Japanese relations are based on mountains and rivers, and their cultures are similar. This time I went to CFLS, hoping to broaden the path in the field of basic education, and carry out diversified forms of cooperation, sign a friendly exchange framework agreement as soon as possible. After the meeting, the school presented gifts to the group of Yamanashi Gakuin University and accompanied them to visit the International Cultural Corridor.
Through this event, the exchanges and cooperation between our school and Yamanashi Gakuin University in Japan has been deepened, and the two sides will discuss and communicate with each other in subject and professional development and cooperation intentions, and jointly enhance the level of cultural exchanges between the two universities in the future.
